Texas Rio Grande Turkey Hunts

Texas is home to over 600,000 Rio Grande turkeys found primarily throughout the Texas Hill Country and Edwards Plateau. They can humble even the most experienced hunter with their keen eyesight. This has been a permanent residence for the Rios for more than 40 years.

The Hunt: As on all of our hunts, your satisfaction is our primary concern. Our staff of expert guides escort both "semi-guided" and "fully-guided" hunters into the field. Hunters are placed within "calling distance" of both roost, strut zone, and feeding areas where you can sit in a stand, back up in the brush, spot and stalk, or "Run & Gun".

Turkey Hunting Packages: We offer different spring turkey hunting packages. The majority of our turkey hunts include 2 days/ 3 nights lodging, meals, guide, field transportation and game care. Guided hunts are one guide per one hunter. Semi-guided hunts include a guide to transport hunters into the field and place them in areas where gobblers frequent and/or roost. "Do It Yourself" hunts are where hunter furnishes their own food & lodging (motel or RV). Turkey decoys, Double Bull pop-up blinds, shotguns, ammunition, snake leggings, and folding chairs may be available for rent.

"Do It Yourself" Spring Turkey Hunts starting at $650.00.

• Rio Grande I & Rio Grande II includes meals, guide, lodging, field transportation and game care.
• Rio Grande III is a day hunt only, field transportation & game care included.
• Pop- Up Blinds, Decoy's, Calls, Chairs, and Shotguns are available for rental upon request.
• Additional Birds $275
• Non-Hunter Guest Fee $150.00 per day
